More About Disney's Genie.

I drew upon Necessary Evil for the handling of his powers. Super Sorcery allows a character to use any power in the setting. I haven't posted for a while because I've been hung up on how to create Genie, and he's the first that I just couldn't create as a playable character; he is simply too powerful—while at the same time being completely limited in said powers. Due to his Godlike power, I had to create Genie as an NPC; he's still a wild card, but he doesn't follow the player character rules.

*He clarifies that he can raise the dead, but it only creates a Zombie and it's not a pretty picture, and thus he does not enjoy doing it. This fits savage worlds perfectly, as one of the standard powers is Zombie.

More About Disney's Phoebus.

Creation Notes:
I had no Idea where to start with Phoebus, I could barely remember his name. So I watched the movie again—which allowed me to write up both Esmeralda and Phoebus. The Figure looks like he has Plate arms (vambrace), and gauntlets, but in referencing the film he is wearing a Tunic and Gloves—the figurine is just cheaply painted (it's a Burger King Toy, you can't really expect much) his arms should be blue and the Gloves should be brown.

Disney's Esmeralda

Description: Long Black Hair. Eyes of Emerald Green. Gypsy

Her Gypsy band has come to Paris for the Festival of fools. She showed no repulsion at the sight of Quasimodo, and showed compassion to him publicly, as a result she is wanted by the royal guard as directed by the Minister of Justice, Jean Claude Frollo.

Rank: Novice

Attributes: Agility d8, Smarts d6, Strength d6, Spirit d6, Vigor d4

Skills: Fighting d8, Guts d6, Notice d8, Stealth d8, Streetwise d6, Perform d8

Pace: 6 Parry: 6 Toughness:Charisma: 0*

Hindrances: Wanted (Major) She is wanted by the Minister of Justice Jean Claude Frollo. He has sentenced her to death, but secretly lusts after her and will offer her a pardon if she consents to be with him. Outsider (Minor)

Edges: Attractive, Beast Master (Djali)

*As a Gypsy, Esmeralda is an outsider—and as such will have a -2 charisma when dealing with those that are not Gypsies. But she is obviously Attractive, so she has the attractive edge and will have a +2 charisma when dealing with those that know her, or those not concerned with the anti-gypsy agenda.

More About Disney's Esmeralda.

Creation Notes:
Esmeralda is an outsider. It's her outsider status that allows her to see through Quasimodo's hideous exterior. But she is also attractive, and in Savage worlds those two things cancel each other out. So with a character like this, the charisma modifier would need to be handled in a situational manner. Also, she appears to use Magic—which is part and parcel to her wanted status. The magic she uses is not Arcane however, it is just prestidigitation and misdirection, as this takes place in a real world setting. So in the instance where she dissapears in a puff of smoke—in game that would be handled with a perform skill check. —One more thing. The eyes of this figurine frighten me, I'm going to fix them with Photoshop when I get the chance. That's not the only thing wrong with this figure, but it's the only one I feel I can fix.

Just to put this out there.

We stopped at Burger King and used a 2 for 1 coupon for Whoppers the other day, and I noticed that they are selling these. (Pardon the Crummy Photoshop Job)

They are so tempting and would be perfect for the site, but I don't frequent fast food at all and couldn't really justify the cost. But if someone out there wants to see a character on the site. I'm not above recieving donations. The rule for a character appearing on the site, is that I must have the toy/figure in possession (I know I fudged a little with Maleficent, let's say that's the exception that proves the rule) to take the proper photograph (and I want to stick with toys that could be used on a 1" grid, so I want to keep them roughly 3 inches tall or less—unless they're some sort of monster [stay tuned, I've got a great one that breaks the height rule]).

So if you want to see a character on the site, send me the toy/figure.

More About Disney's Megara.

Creation Notes:
Meg was pretty straight forward. I kept thinking that she needed some Edge that allowed her to recognize the supernatural (based on the scene where she recognizes Pain and Panic in the guise of Cuddly Forrest Creatures, but none of the core mechanics really seemed to fit that, so I gave her Knowledge: Underworld and the GM can figure out how to fit that campaign as far as game-play.
