More About Tenderheart Bear.

Creation Notes: I read through the Fantasy Companion Race Creation guide when creating Tenderheart bear. I chose to give him the Hindrance Small and Arcane Background (Miracles) as Racial traits for the Care Bear Race. I fudged it a little and gave him an extra Edge.

More About Disney's Genie.

I drew upon Necessary Evil for the handling of his powers. Super Sorcery allows a character to use any power in the setting. I haven't posted for a while because I've been hung up on how to create Genie, and he's the first that I just couldn't create as a playable character; he is simply too powerful—while at the same time being completely limited in said powers. Due to his Godlike power, I had to create Genie as an NPC; he's still a wild card, but he doesn't follow the player character rules.

*He clarifies that he can raise the dead, but it only creates a Zombie and it's not a pretty picture, and thus he does not enjoy doing it. This fits savage worlds perfectly, as one of the standard powers is Zombie.

More About Disney's Phoebus.

Creation Notes:
I had no Idea where to start with Phoebus, I could barely remember his name. So I watched the movie again—which allowed me to write up both Esmeralda and Phoebus. The Figure looks like he has Plate arms (vambrace), and gauntlets, but in referencing the film he is wearing a Tunic and Gloves—the figurine is just cheaply painted (it's a Burger King Toy, you can't really expect much) his arms should be blue and the Gloves should be brown.

More About Disney's Prince Phillip.

Creation Notes:
Prince Phillip is a Novice Character, but has to be able to defeat Maleficent. The Sword and Shield given him by the Fairies therefore must be of sufficient strength. These are ridiculously powerful weapons, so the caveat is that they only exhibit their strength when used versus their namesakes opposites. Also note that in the film he was aided by the Fairies Flora, Fauna and Merryweather against Maleficent's Goons and then backed off when Maleficent herself showed up. Philip seemed to land a handful of lesser hits. Maleficent Mostly used Fiery Breath, she hit twice (the shield protected him), missed twice, and knocked the shield from his hand once, she snapped at him with her jaws in sets of two attacks (Improved Frenzy). Phillip must have rolled an 8 for damage on three of his hits and his throw of the sword, or had his dice explode on the throw to take Maleficent down.

——————–——————–——————–——————–————————————

More About Disney's Quasimodo.

Creation Notes:
Quasimodo was a fairly straight forward creation. I gave him 10 XP (so I could bump his attributes up one and raise a skill point.) I did give him 3 minor hindrances, which is not strictly to the rules. I also reduced his pace due to his physical limitations. Remember this is Disney's Quasimodo, so to account for the Gargoyle companions I gave him elemental manipulation, since the personalities of the Gargoyles are fragments of his own—they appear to be out of his imagination, but are able to affect things physically on more that one ocasion in the film.

More About Disney's Beast.

Creation Notes:
I created The Beast as a normal character, and then looked up Bears, Wolves, and Bulls and adjusted the attributes and abilities as seemed appropriate. The trick with creating a lot of these characters is the character development that they go through in the course of their stories. The Beast's hindrances for example are there strongly in the beginning—but have faded by the end, and if I had a toy of the non beast version of the character, there would be a separate character sheet for that purpose. So I just made a judgment call and wrote up what he was like somewhere in the middle of the movie, where he had softened a bit, but still had some beastliness in him.

More About Disney's Hercules.

Creation Notes:
Hercules is a mortal with the strength of a God—Greek Style. So I let him take more raised attributes than even a Legendary character is allowed. I also gave him two Major Hindrances—We'll say I borrowed that option from Necessary Evil.
